Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: Demanding one minute halt at Manwal Railway Station for all national trains passing through Jammu-Udhampur Railway line, Member Parliament (MP) Jammu-Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore along with other BJP leaders today called on Union Railway Minister in Delhi. Interacting with the Union Minister, Jugal said that various deputations of village Manwal had met him in the recent past demanding a one minute stop of Uttar Sampark Kranti Express, Jammu Mail and Shree Shakti Express at Manwal Railway Station. Jugal told the Union Minister that the people of Manwal have to board train from either Udhampur Railway or Jammu Railway Station traveling miles of distance. He appealed the minister that considering the dense population of the village a parameter, a one minute stop should be declared at the Manwal Railway Station. The Union Minister assured that he will look into the matter. Jugal was accompanied by his brother and BJP Vice President leader Nand Kishore Sharma, Sarpanch Parkash Singh, Baldev Singh, Vikas Gupta, Chuni Lal and others. |
