Rajouri, July 31: Himalayan Degree College Rajouri organized a one day seminar on Dr. A P. J Abdul Kalam's vison of India in the college auditorium in which a sizeable number of students, teachers, socio-educational luminaries and political personalities of the peer panchal region participated.
Throwing light on the vision 2020 presented before nation by the former president, the participants deliberated threadbare on the subject and declared him a scientist for excellence, a philosopher and a statesman as most importantly a modest human being obsessed with teaching. They said he loved to spend time with youth especially students for whom he had the ready advice and inspiration to dream, to create, to invent and to discover the hidden potential and translate it into actuality.
For a corruption free India he stressed upon the role of three key societal members father, mother and teacher whom Kalam believed can actually contribute in formation of competent, reliable, visionary human resource. |
