BJP divided: Ministers blame each other
8/1/2015 12:17:03 AM

Early Times Report
Jammu, July 31: Unprecedented response to Jammu Bandh on the call of AIIMS Coordination Committee despite last ditch effort of playing bluff by BJP leaders to mislead Jammu people by managing a confusing tweet of Union Health Minister, has triggered a blame game among the top leaders of saffron brigade and its ministers.
Instead of making an introspection of their own deeds and misdeeds, the BJP ministers in their private discussion are learnt to be hurling allegations against each other for mishandling the situation on the issue of AIIMS.
While others are accusing the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh for his surrender on the issue and then failure to ensure a respectable arrangement on AIIMS by the Centre, he is shifting the blame to others, including Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh, his Cabinet colleagues and senior BJP leaders.
Instead of trying to put a united face, sources said that Dr Nirmal Singh intentionally preferred to keep Dr Jitendra Singh and Member Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh away from his meeting with Union Health Minister J P Nadda even as both the BJP leaders were in Delhi at the time of meeting. Intention for the same was to take credit alone of securing AIIMS for Jammu but the things did not move as per Nirmal Singh's wish and Jammuites rejected the misleading proposal, sources explained.
Further, sources said, the incident of clash between AIIMS Coordination Committee and BJP activists at Kachi Chawni today, is also being attributed to some insiders in the party, who are not happy with the style of functioning of BJP ministers and more particularly Dr Nirmal Singh.
