Kathua, Aug 1 : A meeting of District Consultative Committee/District Level Review Committee (DCC/DLRC) was convened today at DC Office Kathua under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal.
The meeting was also attended by AGM RBI and representative of NABARD besides banks and sponsoring agencies operating in District Kathua in which chairperson reviewed the performance of banks in key areas relating to deposits, advances under priority sector and etc.
The meeting was chaired by Ajay Singh Jamwal, KAS, DDC, Kathua and was attended by Manmohan Singh, ADDC, Kathua, Dr Sunil Sharma, ACD, Ram Kuwar, Manager, RBI, Aman Kalsotra, AGM (DD), NABARD, Ashok Khashu, LDM, SBI, Kathua, Shareesh Sharma, Cluster Head, J&K Bank, K L Sharma, Area Manager, JKGB.
During the meeting Chairperson DDC Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal had a thread bare review of Annual Credit Plan, CD ratio, JKSES /SC-ST-OBC / KVIB / KVIC / DIC / SJSRY / Handloom / Handicraft, with special emphasis on KCC and financial inclusion. He advised all banks to focus on awareness programmes for dissemination of information to general public. He laid emphasis on linkages under social security scheme like Atal Pension Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jevan Jyoti Yojana. He impressed upon the banks and line department, to ensure effective coordination in their working.
During the meeting the house was apprised under Annual Action Plan for the year 2014-15, that Rs 387.99 Crores have been disbursed in the district by March 2015 and ACP for 2015-16 is Rs 988.54 crores of which Rs 557.54 is under priority sector. |
