Jammu, Aug 3: Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Veena Sawhney, Assistant Registrar, who retired after attaining age of superannuation.
The farewell was held in appreciation of the services rendered by Sawhney to the Institution. Sunil Sahi, President of the Union hailing the contribution of Veena Sawhney who served the institution with utmost honesty, said "It is because of her lifelong service and commitment that this institution has achieved success and is excelling ahead with confidence".
The farewell was accorded during a simple but impressive function in presence of Ravi Gupta, Vice-President, Manoj Chauhan, General Secretary, Pawan Singh, Joint Secretary, Sham Lal , Organizing Secretary and Executive members of the Union.
Veena Sawhney, thanked all the staff members present on the occasion and also conveyed her thanks to all those who stood by her during her long service in the University. |
