Jammu, Aug 4: Naib Tehsildar aspirants (NT) feel dejected as Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) had not mentioned that Urdu would be descriptive test. Most of aspirants who are simply Urdu knowing feel cheated. As per notification which was published on 07/04/2015 for 139 posts of NT by JKSSB, read that those candidates must have "graduation degree with knowledge of Urdu" could be applied for the post, but, four month after its notification, JKSSB has asked the aspirants be prepared for descriptive test of Urdu valuing 30 marks. Narinder Singh Rajput, an aspirant said that due to discriminatory attitude of authority concerned, most of the candidates are feeling cheated, if the board had already decided to recruit well known Urdu Knowledge candidates then it was to be mentioned in its earlier notification, so that those who have little knowledge of Urdu, would not have applied for the post. He further said that most of the candidates had applied for the post as per earlier criteria had fixed without conducting descriptive test", adding, "Either government or the recruitment agency was changing pattern of examination; it should make it clear in its notification issued in month of April". Recently published interview syllabus for the post of Naib tehsildar, read as Urdu descriptive test- 30 marks, General English- 20, General Studies- 40, Constitution of India-20, constitution of J&K-10, General Knowledge with special reference to J&K- 25 and Mensuration-15 marks respectively, but the descriptive test not mentioned in previous notification. When contacted JKSSB Secretary, SA Raina said that as per direction of government, we have changed the old pattern of examination and added descriptive test of Urdu valuing 30 marks, so that well Urdu knowing candidates to be selected. |
