Basohli, Aug 4: Rural Development Department Block Basohli Launched 'Clean 86 Green Mission' under the theme " My Village- My World" " Mera Gaon-Mera jahan" at Block Basohli 86 Bhoond on Tuesday
According to press release, at the block level, the launched was under the chairmanship of Block Development Officer Basohli 85 Bhoond under the guidance of SDM Basohli along with the Committee members 85 at the Panchayat level, Sarpanchs of respective Panchayats. While speaking on the occasion, BDO Basohli stressed upon the aims and objectives of the CGM viz. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in their Homes, surroundings, Parks, Rivers, Wells, Ponds and at their work places, use of toilets, ban on polythene bags.
He further emphasized on the plantation of trees and its various benefits. Besides this, a cleanliness pledge and was also taken at all the panchayats and further under the plantation drive, various varieties of plants were planted by the BDO (chairman of CGM) and the committee members at all the panchayat ghars, hospitals, at school premises and at block headquarters viz.Basohli and Bhoond. |
