AIIMS CC criticizes imposition of Section 144 8/5/2015 12:22:35 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 4: AIIMS Coordination Committee has strongly condemned the imposition of section 144 by the local administration despite peaceful protests by committee today in press conference held at Chamber House. Addressing a press conference, AIIMS CC condemned the use of force and tear gases by the Police force which was even not used during the Amarnath Land row agitation in 2008. The AIIMS CC questioned the local administration that why the Police force was not used against the BJP MLA's who along with their muscle men were forcing the innocent traders to open their shops and also violating section 144 at the same time. The AIIMS CC would like to clearly mention for the information of the citizens of Jammu province that the claims been made by BJP that AIIMS has been sanctioned for Jammu is totally baseless and BJP has totally failed to produce any document in support of their claims. The AIIMS CC also condemns the stabbing incident of an innocent youth Saurab Sharma by some goons who were trying to get the shops of the traders opened forcibly in Bhore camp area today. The AIIMS CC informs the public at large that they have provided four buses for the convenience of Amarnath Yatries from Railway Station Jammu to Amarnath Yatra base camp free of charge.
