Alleged Land feud: Two injured, five held, main accused absconds 8/27/2015 11:58:30 PM Early Times Report jammu, Aug 27: In an alleged assault case in which two persons sustained injuries over land feud, the Trikuta Nagar police arrested five persons while hunt is on to arrest the main accused. The arrested have been identified as Mohd Ashraf s/o Mohd Yousuf, Javid Ahmed s/o Mohd Yousuf, Zulfqar Ali s/o Abdul Rashid Tali (all residents of Sunjwan), Majid khan @ foreman s/o Atta Ulha khan of UP presently Sunjwan and Mohd Yousf s/o Imandin of Sunjwan. As per police sources, land dispute is the reason behind the assault in which two persons sustained injured. The injured identified as Mohd Younis and Abdul Majeed, both residents of Sujwan are presently being hospitalized at Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu. Sources said that 3 kanal of land spread situated at prime location at Sunjwan is stated to be bone of contention between two parties following which court ordered status quo, adding the injured persons were on their visit to the piece of land in dispute when the six persons assaulted them. Police sources said that the accused have been booked under FIR no 204/15 u/s 307/341/323/427/147/148/RPC registered at P/S Bahu Fort. Police taking cognizance have conducted raids after identifying the accused and arrested five persons while the sixth accused stated to be the main accused identified as Shida is absconding and manhunt is on to nab him.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
