JAMMU, Aug 28: The sixth J&K State Shooting Championship was declared open by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Pawan Kotwal at Gulshan Ground, here today. About 250 shooters representing various districts of the state are participating in this competition. The chief guest lauded the efforts of the Association and encouraged the participants to give their best in the championship. He was happy to learn that the shooters from Jammu and Kashmir are performing well at the national level. President of the J&K Rifle Association and ADGP, Dilbag Singh laid stress on shooting ranges at the district level so that maximum participation is ensured at the grass root level. Earlier, the participants and other distinguished gathering welcomed by senior vice president of J&K Rifle Association, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, who presented a brief note of the event. The vote of thanks presented by executive member, AP Mirza. Among others present were Sohan Lal, Sanam Sony, VS Pathania, Dharamvir Singh Jamwal, Vijay Kumar Sharat Chander Singh, Parveen Mittal, Deepak Handa, Mohd.
