Kishtwar, Aug 30: In what could be a mockery of the transfer policy, some influential principals, lecturers and masters were allegedly retained within the month of their transfers in Kishtwar district. Done at behest of a BJP minister, these transfers have sent a shocking wave not only within the education department, but in the three districts of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban.
As per the details available with "Early Times" Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Samita Sethi allegedly issued series of orders wherein she not only ordered retention/transfer of over a dozen politically backed lecturers/masters, but also transferred few who had joined a less than a month ago while at the same time DSEJ allegedly posted three master grades against single posts.
After scrutinizing various orders issued by DSEJ, in order No 469-DSEJ of 2015 dated 28-08-2015, Director Education Jammu order for retention of four lecturers transferred less than a month ago vide order No. 426-DSEJ Dated 30-07-2015 and 427-DSEJ of 2015 Dated 3-08-2015.
The lecturers who were allegedly retained by the DSEJ in fresh order of August 28, 2015, the influential in Charge Principal HSS Sounder Vidhya Dhar lecturer in English transferred along with his wife Rajni Sharma lecturer in Sanskirit transferred from HSS Kud HSS Ramnagar were both retained along with Radha Rani Sen lecturer in Education transferred from DIET Kishtwar to HSS Sounder against available post and Chanjoo Ram lecturer in Education transferred DIET Kishtwar to HSS Warwan against available post.
All the four retained lecturers were through relieved from their place of posting, but only Rajni Sharma joined at HSS Ramnagar three days prior to the issuance of order No 469, while three other did not report to new place of posting and successfully managed to revoke the transfer orders.
Sources said that Rajni Sharma is posted at HSS Kud since last over four years and her husband Vidhya Dhar since last nine years is posted at HSS Sounder while Chinjoo Ram hardly remain posted in any far flung area of the state during his entire service.
In order No 466-DSEJ of 2015 and order No 467-DSEJ of 2015 Dated 28-08-2015, Director School Education Jammu order transfer of six master grade teachers, but to the utter surprise two masters Reeta Bhutiyal (From HSS Sounder to MS Sarkoot) and Arshad Hussain ( From MS Sarkoot to HS Kungwari)were transferred vide order No 466-DSEJ in less than one month (Order No. 438-DSEJ of 2015 Dated 3-08-2015), but to utter surprise in order No. 467-DSEJ of 2015 one Vinod Kumar (blind) was order to be retained at MS Sarkoot thus three teachers were posted against single post as Arshad Hussain transfer is premature.
While another Master grade Sangeeta Sharma was also transferred in less than one month from HS Malipath to far flung school of HS Sigdi Kishtwar. Sangeeta Sharma' son was suffering from a chronicle disease and was transfer by the previous DSEJ Yasha Mudghal on humanitarian grounds.
The department also issued the modification order of one Suresh Kumar Sen who was under transfer to HSS Marwah order premature transfer of three In charge Principal and equivalent through Order No. 440-Edu of 2015 Dated 28-08-2015 order transfer of Dy. CEO Kishtwar Javed Kitchloo to HSS Jangelwar vice Mohammad Shafi who has been transfer to DIET Doda and Suresh Kumar Sen was posted as Principal HSS Girls against Prehlad Baghat who was transferred and posted as Dy. CEO Kishtwar.
While another lecturer who remains posted in Kishtwar town since last nearly ten years and remains busy in teaching at coaching centers also transferred to Kishtwar locality in less than three months of transfer.
While talking to "Early Times" President Teachers and Masters Association Kishtwar slammed the government for giving free hands to its officers who are transferring the influential Principals, lecturers and Masters according to their own choice, added that the Association has taken serious note of the political interference in transfers added that in case government did not stop all this, the association will come on roads.
He urged upon Education Minister to look into the issue and order immediate probe into the fresh transfers issued by the authorities concerned. |
