J&KGEWF extends support to nationwide protest on Sept 2

Jammu, Aug 31: J&K Govt Employees and Workers Federation (J&KGEWF) held its meeting under the presidentship of S Kulwant Singh President J&K Govt employees & Workers Federation in which various issues of employees were discussed and appealed employees organization to support the nationwide wide protest called by All India Trade Unions on Sept 2 in support of fulfillment of their just on genuine demands of the employees. Addressing the members in this meeting, the president J&KGEWF, S Kulwant Singh showed the anguish over the anti-employees and anti-workers attitude of the both government viz. the state and the centre as well.
During the meeting the speakers highlighted various demands like release the pending installment of 7% D.A due from July 2015 in favour of employees and pensioners, enhance of medical allowance to Rs 1000/- instead of 300/-, Regularization of daily wagers in different departments who have been engaged after 1994, Release the salary of ReT Teachers working under SSA and etc . Meanwhile the employees were appealed to support the nationwide wide protest called by All India Trade Unions on Sept 2 in support of fulfillment of their just on genuine demands of the employees. Prominent trade union leaders present in the meeting included L.R. Khajuria, Shahid Hussain, Subash Chander, Suresh Kumar, S Amrik Singh S Balbir Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Manohar Lal, Parminder Singh, K.S. Jamwal, Deep Chand, Raju Kumar, Ranjit Singh, Zakir Peer , Kulesh Kumar and others.
