Pahal felicitates Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal

Jammu, Sept 1: Pahal a social organization today has felicitated Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, a holy man from Punjab who cleaned 160 Kms Kali Bein River with a motto 'Harmony with Nature' and has inspired the thousands to live by this motto too.
Chairman of the Pahal Deepak Aggarwal presented a memento to Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal. Speaking on the occasion, Aggarwal lauded the effort of Sant Balbir Singh in cleaning 160 Kms River Kali Bein in Sultan Pur Lodhi area.
He mentioned that with his initiative he not only inspirited the people of Punjab but also inspired the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He added that State of J&K and Punjab are reverie states and it the moral duty of all the people to clean rivers as they are potent source to the mankind. Aggarwal also called upon the people of Jammu to clean river Tawi after getting inspiration from person life Sant Balbir Singh.
Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal appreciated Pahal for honouring him and said that Kali Bein is one of the tributary of River Beas and flows through parts of Punjab and ultimately merged with Beas and Satluj in Harrika Pattan.
He said that River Kali Beinhas historic important and is sacred to the Sikh community because of its association with Guru Nanak Dev ji who took bath in this river for three days before writing initial verses of Gurubani.
It is to mention that Pahal worked with various initiatives including social justice, empowerment of women, and work for old aged persons always felicitated the persons who associated with social cause.
