Youth Congress demands inquiry of revenue officials' assets

Kathua, Sept 1: Youth Congress held protest demonstration against the corrupt revenue officials who accumulated huge fortune and assets and demanded inquiry against them.
Series of protests and criticism held by suffers, Youth Congress also have come on the road and pointed out assets/ property of field officers of revenue department and sought vigilance inquiry. It is not unknown to anyone in revenue department that Patwaris openly promote corruption while flouting any norm for the welfare of the public. They first harass the public and compel them to offer sweeteners. They illegally earn huge amount and purchase costly assets including luxury vehicles.
S. Parmjeet Singh Youth Congress State Gen Secy J&K sought severe inquiry and said an employ who is working under low grade how can purchase costly movable and immovable property. He added that Patwaris get government job with RBA category but later get transfers in urban areas and build huge empire.
