Doda, Sept 3: Students of Govt. Degree College Doda today boycotted their classes for the third consecutive day, demanding staff in the college. The protesting students raised slogans against District administration, vice chancellor of Jammu University, Education Minister and MLA Doda. The students alleged that they did not not get any assurance from District administration as Deputy commissioner Doda did not come out of his office to talk with the students. The college is working with a mere staff of 7 professors. Moreover, it is to bring in notice that majority of contractual staff members were running the college. But they have not been given joining order even after counseling which was held twice, they said.
