Udhampur, Oct 3 : Three-Day NSS Workshop concluded today at Government Degree College Udhampur. The theme of the workshop was "Swach Bharat Abhiyaan & Gandhian Philosophy of Non-Violence". During the workshop NSS Volunteers participated in symposium on the topic "Role of Gandhian Philosophy as the Contemporary World".
A poster making competition on the topic "Beti Bachao, Beti Padao" was held in which 25 volunteers participated. Monika Thakur and Kritika of B.Sc.-III, Ayushi Sharma & Nitika Singh of B.Sc.-III, Shubham Singh of B.Sc.-III declared I, II & III respectively. Besides this, NSS volunteers participated in Group Discussion on various social issues like female feticide, corruption etc. NSS volunteers also collected donations for Old Age Home. Massive Cleanliness derive in connection with "Swach Bharat Abhiyaan" were also launched in the Campus. Various Cultural activities was performed by NSS Volunteers highlighting various social issues in the society. |
