Jammu, Oct 3 : Hunger strike of Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association under its General Secretary Darshan Kumar entered 23 day at Hari Singh Park Jammu. Addressing on the occasion, Darshan Kumar said Association having about 15 lacs retirees, veer naris and 75 lags dependants all over the country, from BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, CISF and Assam Rifles. "We are requesting since very long though protests and memorandum to Rajnath, Minister for Home Affairs, PMO Minister Jatinder Singh and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of Largest, Biggest and mighty democracy of the world but we have never been healed and our woes have not been addressed. He said center has inflicted a severe blow upon Ex Central Paramilitary Forces by not granting OROP while granting it to Defence Forces despite the promises made during the Election 2014 by all BJP Candidates and during the Lalkar Rally at Dharamshalla (H. P.) (then would be) Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi promised that there will be no variation in uniform as well as pay and perk and other allowances but now none is there to listen, see and think about the promises made and woes we are facing. |
