Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 3: After completing 24 weeks of rigorous training, 338 Border Security Force recruits today took oath to serve the country at an attestation-cum-passing out parade held at Subsidiary Training Centre near Airport here. Jagat Singh, Inspector General of BSF Kashmir Frontier, took the salute at the well turned out parade at STC Humhama here and wished them success in their future endeavours, a BSF Spokesperson said. While congratulating the jawans, the IG also lauded the role of officers and training staff of the STC in shaping these young men to shoulder the responsibility and live to the expectations of the nation. Recruit Head Constable/Radio Operator Ajit Kumar commanded the parade. The IG later awarded medals for all round first and second best performance, best shooter, best in Physical endurance and best in drill, he said. |
