Master-grade headmaster claims clout in ministry, gives damn to mid-day meal 10/4/2015 12:38:06 AM A B Sharma Early Times Report Sunderbani, Oct 3: The mid-day meal scheme in Sunderbani has come under scanner as the high headed school authorities deny schedule menu to the children and instead cook food of their choice only. This instance came to light today when a cook of Middle School Nahoti today reached media with an urgent complaint on the issue which he saids was not being addressed at proper forum due to his superiors' alleged connections with the high-ups in the department and the ministry. Kali dass, the cook who has been rendering his services to the mid-day meal to be provided to nearly 20 children of middle school Nohoti alleged that he has been kept under the continous threat of a teacher and master grade headmaster of the school to cook the food of their choice only while ignoring the scheduled menu as decided by the authorities. Besides he alleged that both the teacher and the master-grade headmaster also made him to buy lesser stock of the food to be served and used to siphon off the money from the deal. "I have been regularly keeping in touch with the former ZEO Ravinder Khajuria and told him about the felonies committed in the school, but he remained nonchalant," said Kali Dass. It is pertinent to mention here that the teacher Satish Kumar Sharma and the master-grade headmaster Isher Dass have made Middle school Nohoti as their forte and do not heed to any problems. Meanwhile Kali Dass also reported that since he works on a paltry sum of Rs 1000 per month only and fears losing his job if the crime committed by Satish Kumar and Isher Dass is reported at higher level. " Both Isher Dass and Satish Sharma have warned me quite often to use their ministerial and bureaucratic influence to throw me away from the job and have said they care two hoots for any ZEO or CEO taking action against them," lamented Kali Dass. When contacted, master-grade headmaster Isher Dass on first instance tried to shy away from the answer saying," I will talk on the issue on Monday," but on repeated calls he even went on to the extent of threatening the Early times reporter saying, " I damn care for any ZEO or CEO. I have the commissioner secretary links and even have a clout in the ministry.
