JAMMU, Oct 4 : State Tug of War teams today left for participation in the 28th Junior Women (U-19) and 28th Senior Women National Championships being held from October eight to October 11 at Zilha Kirda Sankul Stadium, Washim in Maharashtra.
Earlier, the teams were distributed sports kits by president of the Jammu and Kashmir Tug-of-War Association, Hardeep Singh Anand, who interacted with the players.
"The selected teams also underwent screening conducted by the J&K State Sports Council at Green Field ground," general secretary of the Association, Ravinder Singh Sasan said.
The teams are accompanied by Gourav Dubey, Ankita and Sourabh as coach and manager.
The Teams :
Junior Women : Priyanka Sharma, Swati , Shriya, Samiksha, Gurleen Kour, Diksha Bhat, Palvi,Sakshi and Shalu Devi.
Senior Women : Anam Khan, Ankee, Azra Hamid, Sapna, Parveen Rehman, Insha Nazir, Suman Sharma and Vaishali Sharma. |
