Jammu, Oct 4 : A meeting of the inhabitants of mohallas around Digiana was held under the chairmanship of ex Captain Des Raj. All the members of the different mohallas discussed the various problems faced by them and they unanimously decided to form a welfare committee of mohalla Bhagat, Chob,Loharan, Munshi Khan and others so that their problems are collectively project before the various agencies of the government. They have elected Aslam Khan as president, Puran Singh Manhas as vice president, Magger Singh as General Secretary, Bansi lal as Secretary, Devi Dass as joint Secretary and Kashmira Singh as Cashier. Moreover, the committee elected Tarsem Lal Bhagat as chief advisor of the committee along with following executive members included Sardari lal, Yash Pal, Gurdas Ram, Charnjeet Singh, Satish Kumar, Ravi Singh, Kuldeep Raj, Sanjay Gupta, Mohinder Singh, Prem Lal, Pardeep Singh, Bachan Lal, Anwar Choudhary, Ram kumar, Subash Chander, Vijay Kumar, Vikram, Madan lal and Janak Raj. |
