PAF calls on DC, demands dumping of winter stocks in far flung areas | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, Oct 4: A delegation of Public Awareness Front Kishtwar under the Presidentship of Shakir Hussain Siddiqui called on Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Saugat Biswas and apprised him about the various problems faced by the people besides also discussed public important issues with him. PAF raised the issue of Batote- Kishtwar stretch of National Highway which is in dilapidated condition and urged on DC Kishtwar to make all necessary arrangements before the upcoming of winter in District Kishtwar including stocking of ration, LPG, Kerosene oil and other essential commodities well in advance not only at Kishtwar Headquarter, but also in far flung areas like Marwah, Warwan, Padder, Saroor, Bhunzwah, Nagsini and Dachhan areas as the road from Batote to Kishtwar could collapse any time during winter season as it is in a very deplorable condition. They also demanded for starting of air service from Kishtwar to Jammu during winter in the interest of public. Siddiqui urged DC Kishtwar to construct at least five urinals between Bus stand and Dak Bunglow Kishtwar so that the people reaching Kishtwar, particularly the females could not face the problem. After patient hearing DC Kishtwar assured the representatives of the front that he would look in to all issues raised by them and will try to resolve the same at an earliest. Among those who are the part of the delegation include Munshi Ghulam Hussain, Sanjay Parihar , Ishrat Saleem, Mohammad. Iqbal, Mohammad Aslam, Wazir Ahmad, Nazir Lone and others. |
