DC convenes meeting to discuss revenue issues 10/5/2015 10:12:34 PM Early Times Reports Ramban, Oct 5: Deputy Commissioner Ramban Bashir Ahmed Dar reviewed status of progress in respect of encroachments on lands and evictions thereof, compensation cases, SDRF and functioning of new administrative units in a meeting held at Ramban today. The meeting was attended by ADC, Babu Ram, ACR, Vivek Puri, SDMs, Tehsildars and NTs and other officers of the concerned department. Threadbare discussion was held on various issues relating to land and their arriving solutions keeping in view problems of local people. Tehsildars informed the chair that regular efforts have been made to speed up the process of evictions of illegal encroachment from state land including Kacharai land. DC directed the officers that in order to provide services to the people at the their door step, there is necessity of determined team efforts.
