Police launches drive against traffic rule violators in Bhaderwah

Bhadarwah Oct. 5: In a bid to curb rash driving, overloading and to check proper documents of vehicles Bandeshwar Singh Manhas , SHO Bhaderwah on the directives of SSP Doda , Zahid Naseem Manhas and other police officers of the district Police Doda started a drive against traffic violations in the area. On very first day total dozens of violators were booked under M.V Act like overloading, over speed, without D/L, crash helmets and also seized some vehicles without documents. The police said the main objective of the drive is to aware the general public and youths regarding traffic rules like wearing a helmet, avoiding overtaking, control over speed, avoiding triple riding etc. Doda police also launched an awareness campaign among the public for not giving vehicles to the minors appealing the general public to obey traffic rules to save human losses. He said that drive against the traffic violations will continue.
