Jammu, Oct 5: Sanjeev Kumar Sareen, Advocate on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) expressed concern over the unhygienic condition of Government Medical College Hospital, Bakshi Nagar Jammu.
Addressing a press conference, Sareen said that we are living in 21 century and what to talk of other places like Samba, Kathua, Udhampur etc. even the main hospital of Jammu GMC&H lacking sanitation facilities. The members of Aam Aadmi Party visited Government Medical College Hospital Jammu which usually is over- crowded and saw pitiable condition of the bathrooms, toilets, hand-wash basins, which are not properly cleaned. Sareen appealed to the J&K State Government for taking necessary remedial steps for cleanliness of the above mentioned bathrooms, toilets, hand-wash basins of Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu so that the patients, their attendants and the Doctors besides the staff perform better in hygienic conditions. |
