Jammu, Oct 5: National Council for Urban & Rural Development today organized 'District Level Children Science Congress' at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Satwari Jammu.
About 80 projects were presented by the children of different schools of Jammu district in district level National Children Science Congress a program of NCSTC, DST, New Delhi held today at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Satwari, Jammu. The congress was organized by National Council for Urban and Rural Development Society, Jammu - a voluntary organization for promoting various science communication programs under Zaffar Ullah Khan. Founder Secretary General, NCURDS. About 400 Participants (children & teachers) participated in the district level Congress.
The Congress was inaugurated by JK Sudan, Chief Education Officer, Jammu who was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In his inaugural address, he lauded the efforts of Zaffar Ullah Khan for promoting such programs in the interest of Children of J&K. |
