POONCH, Oct 8: Provincial Youth National Conference President Jammu Aijaz Jan on Thursday condemned the unruly behaviour of some BJP legislators in the Legislative Assembly, describing the attack on an independent member as unfortunate.
In a statement, Jan blamed the PDP for encouraging hooliganism; saying the lawlessness has now crossed all limits. "The ruling alliance cannot escape responsibility for such an unbecoming act", he added. The Youth National Conference Provincial President Jammu called maintaining the sanctity of the highest democratic institution of the state at all costs. "Such acts are not in consonance with the democratic spirit, which has been the hallmark of the State Legislature. |
