EARLY TIMES REPORT
BANIHAL, Oct 8: Though the possession of Aadhar Card was made mandatory for the general public of the country, the drive for the same, it seems, has got derailed in the state as it failed to give fruitful results in rural and hilly areas. The Aadhar cards issued in maximum areas of the state found variations in date of birth, names, parentage and photographs pasted on these cards. The government authorities appointed the agencies for making and entering the entries for the Aadhar cards are not serious which resulted in the variations in DOB, names and parentages on these cards and the detail are not matching with school records of many students and other persons. These variations come to fore when many teachers of different schools found variations of names and date of births in school records and that of Aadhar cards issued in favour of several students. |
