JAMMU, Oct 8 : JK Public School, Kunjwani, today held a very interactive session for parents of Class IX to XII. The school is the pioneer in holding parental sessions since 2001. The session was inaugurated by Brig Sukhdev Singh, Director, JK Educational Society, who highlighted the need for counseling sessions and good parent-child relationship. Dr Chand Trehan, CBSE approved resource person and psychologist, conducted the parental session highlighting the importance of life skills, goal settings and career orientation. S K Singh, Principal, discussed at length the work plan and trend of examination and also stressed the need for the parents to spend quality time during this period with the children. Puneet Kaur, the Vice Principal, proposed the vote of thanks. The parents were over-whelmed by the counseling session and requested the management to hold such sessions more frequently. |
