Teacher switches title of School land to his kin's name, locals demand FIR

Doda, Oct 29: In a bizarre incident of materialistic attitude, a government teacher left the civil society in Bhaderwah of Doda district enraged when he allegedly managed to convert title of land allotted for a school in his kin's name.
Pretending himself as the so called President of a non recognized teachers body "United Teachers Federation' District Doda and a close aide of former Union Minister Gulam Nabi Azad, the said master has been alleged to have attracting notoriety to teaching fraternity especially by way of managing the resources to convert the land settlement in his or in the favour of his close relatives in connivance with some officials in concerned revenue department.
"Beside this, the locals also alleged that by using the pad of unregistered employees organization and using the influence of Azad family, he had made transfers in education a industry and often seen pressurizing the authorities of Education Department for accommodating teachers at his whims and also to settle his personal scores with people, some local and teachers alleged.
Locals also accused him of fraud land when the said teacher in league with some officers of the education department got a land deal through by selling government land to Govt Primary School (Girls) Qilla Mohalla ,Bhaderwah resulting huge loss of government exchequer.
"I am a senior most teacher having unblemished track record , but I feel highly depressed after a frivolous complaint was lodged by the man in question who presently is Headmaster Govt High School Dugli- Bhalla ,Bhaderwah which has lowered by image in public," lamented a teacher of Bhaderwah town on the condition of anonymity.
Meantime State President All India Students Federation (AISF) Comrade Mukesh Parihar also had expressed great resentment over the issue which is sending wrong signals in society against teachers' fraternity. "Surprisingly, some officials in the department at district level are alleged to have league with the said master and allegedly have saved him from disciplinary action many a times encouraging said teacher to openly threatening government employees in their offices, he added.
One Mohd Asgar alleged that his proprietary land has been encroached by a woman -now a non resident of state and India but happens to be a real sister of said master who is mounting pressure on him to surrender his legal claim on the land.
Irked over the bullying of the said master locals have demanded a criminal case to be registered against the said teacher and due action against the said master.
When contacted, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Doda to get his comments in this all attempts turned futile even there was no response from DEPO Doda and ZEO Bhaderwah in this regard.
