| Hideout busted in Poonch, Pak sim, cache of arms recovered | | |

Poonch, Nov 24: The Special Operation Group (SOG) Poonch and 39 RR in a joint operation today busted a hideout and recovered arms haul including Improvised Explosives Device (IEDs), Pak sim, PIKA Rounds and etc from forest area of Dungi Cheed of Poonch under the jurisdiction of Poonch Police Station.
An official spokesperson said, "following specific information, the troops of Special Operation Group (SOG) Poonch and 39 RR launched a search operation in general area of Dungi Cheed near Village Mangnar and busted a hideout.'
He said the recovery from the said hideout included 113 Rounds- AK47, 41 PIKA Rounds, IED-02 (10 Kg each), IED-01 (approx-1.5 Kg), IED-01 (approx-500gm), Battery Charger-05, Pak currency -Rs 60 (denomination Rs 50=01& Rs10= 01), Mobil phone -02 (defective), Sim Pak-01, Chinese grenade-01, Pathani Suit-01, Cap-01, Binocular-01, Map -01. |
