Pandita lambasts Mattoo for not taking KP leaders into confidence

Jammu, Nov 24: A meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee was held here at Jagti today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President of the committee. During the course of meeting the participants have expressed their grave concern for not taking into confidence the known representatives of Kashmir Pandit migrant community by Amitab Mattoo, advisor to Chief Minister on his visit of Jagti Migrant Township. Shadi Lal Pandita said that members of the community was having affiliation with PDP/BJP contacted in this migrant township and tall claims of coalition government of PDP and BJP were repeated by the worthy Advisor. Pandita said that worthy Advisor Amitabh Mattoo ought to have contacted the real representatives of this community at Jagti during his visit to ascertain the problems being faced by the migrant community and to sort out solutions to mitigate the miseries of the community.
It has been warned that in case another visit is made and real representatives were not brought under confidence, in that case Black flags will be waved as a protest for failure of the authroity to redress sufferings of community.
Pandita has further said that since the Kashmiri Pandit migrant community has not been permanently rehabilitated as such banning of issuance of RBA certificates to those incumbents the community who actually hail from Reserved Backward areas of Kashmir valley is grave injustice with the community. Pandita has demanded that ban on issuance of RBA certificates be lifted and RBA certificates issued to those incumbents who actually hail from Reserved Backward Areas of Kashmir valley and presently putting up as migrants in Jammu and other parts of the country.
Pandita has expressed his anguish for withholding monthly wages of the Anganwari workers of Migrant community which has put these workers to lot of financial hardships. He has demanded that early measures are required to be taken by the authorities concerned for ensuring timely release of monthly wages in favour of these Anganwari workers along with accumulated arrears enabling these Anganwari workers to meet their domestic needs.
It has further been said by Pandita that out of 6000 posts announced under Prime Minister's employment package still 4000 posts are yet to be filled up and has demanded that the government should take necessary steps to implements the employment package in its letter and spirit by filling all remaining 4000 posts.
