| Jammu, Nov 24 : The Gujjar Bakerwal Ishlahi Committee (GBIC) today criticized PDP led state government, for its failure to defend reservation in promotion for reserved categories in J&K. According to press release, a protest rally was taken out from Panama Chowk, Dr. B.R. Ambadakar Park, under the President ship of Ch. Akhtar Hussain demanding reservation in promotion. Addressing the rally leaders of GBIC said that the policy of PDP and BJP coalition Government for abolit for of promotion benefits to the employees of SC/ST/OBC in J&K, which is great injustice with the said community. They further said that said that step mother treatment is being done with the SC/ST OBC as the State Government has not taken any concrete step in this regard. They appealed the state government not to implement the said decision and in case no action is taken in that case the community members will come into streets for seeking their justice as the said community has already a lot of indiscrimination by the hands of Government. |
