Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 25: 547th the Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji, the founder of Sikhism was celebrated across Jammu with religious fervor and gaiety. S. Gurdeep Singh Sasan, Vice President National Conference Jammu Province and Chief Patron J&K Sikh Societies Amalgamate extended heartiest greetings to people on the eve of Parkash Utsav of Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Addressing the congregation at Gurudwara Sri Bala Pritam Trikuta Nagar, Jammu where the Gurupurab was celebrated with zeal and dedication, Sasan while paying obescence to Guru Nanak Devi Ji, said that Guru Ji is of one the great men of history whose memory is enshrined in the hearts of people and his fame transcends the bound of time and religion. He was widely known and respected as prophet, sear, saviour of mankind, redeemer of the downtrodden and spiritual teacher. Guru Nanaks expounded three main principles of work, workshop and charity. |
