Early Times Report Samba, Nov 26: The MVD Samba organized a "Road Safety cum Traffic Rules awareness Programme" at New Light Hr. Secondary School (Balore) Mansar Morh Samba. The programme was organised by the ARTO Samba to sensitize the teen age students, youth, teaching staff about the frequently occurring fatal accidents and role of the young generation especially the students to prevent and minimize such road accidents. Thirteen students from Class 4th to 12th participated in the debate and spoke on the topic of road safety and stressed on Each One Teach One. While addressing the students, ARTO Samba Er Kuldeep Singh disclosed that the MVD under able guidance of Minister for Transport J&K Govt, Secretary Transport department, Transport Commissioner and with support of District Administration Samba, has launched the road safety awareness programmes widely in District Samba in different Schools and colleges to inculcate the traffic sense among the youth , students as the youth are more vulnerable to the accidents. Also , the students can play a greater role to even educate their elders to follow traffic rules and safety norms. The awareness programme was attended by the Chairman of the School Shiv charan singh , Deepak Singh, Sunita Sambyal , Rinku , Nitin Gupta ,Ex Subedar Sansar Singh , Kulwant singh , Sandeep Sharma , Vinod Sharma, Parveen Sharma and Panches. |
