NC-Congress responsible for poor condition of tribal community: Malik

Kishtwar, Nov 27: State Youth Secretary PDP Advocate Malik Mohammad Umar today said that previous NC-Congress governments are responsible for the poor conditions of tribal community including Gujjars in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. These remarks from PDP Youth leader came during his visit to far flung Chamoti panchayat of block Drabshala in Inderwal constituency wherein he held a series of meetings with party workers and the people. Malik gave a patient hearing to the issues and problems faced by the people of the panchayat mainly dominated by Gujjar community.
People also brought various issues like the non availability of drinking water to the villagers, non payment of funds by the RDD department, poor condition of schools, non availability of staff and other public related issues. While addressing the eminent gathering, Malik said, " that the previous government was responsible for the mess in state and was never serious to solve the issues pertaining to the scheduled tribe community.
