Jammu, Nov 27 : Government Degree College Udhampur adopted Government Higher Secondary School Garhi and its cluster schools under the scheme of establishment of model schools in J&K.
According to press release, in this context Principal of the College Prof. S S Bhalwal along with Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Dr. Anil Khajuria and Prof. Romesh Kr. Atri Visited Govt. Higher Secondary School Garhi. He convened a meeting with Chief Education Officer Bishan Singh, Principal GHS School Garhi Swarn Lata, Head of the cluster institution and faculty members of the school. In the meeting threadbare discussion on strengthening the academics by introducing innovations, teaching facilities and techniques, special areas of concern, Enrichment of the school environment by organizing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities were held. College has decided to encourage the students by instituting scholarship out of the student aid fund. |
