Jammu, Nov 28: All Brahman Biradari congregation held today at Chenani Udhampur. People from Chenani, Dudu, Basantgarh, Lati Dhans, Kud, Patnitop Samna, Sewna, participated and paid obeisance to Kuldevtas.
As per press release, a congregation of around four thousand people living in vicinity and also people from adjoining area belonging to different walks of life but belonging to Brahman community interacted and discussed issues of common concern affecting them. A 95 year old woman also participated in the congregation who was honored by the Brahman Shaba at Vanisugam. Worthy SDM , Chenani Davinder Sharma, SHO., Chenani, Inspector Mahesh Sharma, Executive Megastore Mohammad Saleem and many other public functionaries were present on the occasion. Brahman Sabha Chenani Dudu zone HQ Venisungam expressed thanks to the people including both local and non locals who has assembled and participated in the annual congregation. |
