AWAJ organizes folk, light music program | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 28: All Artist's Welfare Association Jammu organized a folk and light music programme exclusively rendered by the women and children here today at K. L Saigal Hall Cultural Academy Jammu. On the occasion Dr. Aziz Hazni Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was the Chief Guest while V.K Singh Sambyal Station Director Radio Kashmir , Jammu presided over the function. Dr. Aziz Hazni while congratulating the Association and artists said that artists of the Jammu region especially the girls and women are adequately talented in all the field of perfuming art. Dr. Hazni also praised the performance of each artist and also encouraged them to keep the practice going on in order to create space for them in the national and international scenario. VK Singh Sambyal also spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of Association for promoting art and culture by providing platform to the budding artists. The artists who regaled the audience with their melodions voices were Santosh Bandral, Sudesh Manhas, Seema Dogra, Noorin Bhat, while Aarya Khajuria, Sidharth Bogal and Krishma Bharti mesmeised the audience with the magic of playing the Violin who are undergoing their triaining by Bahadur Singh a noted Violinist of the state. Yash Pal yash a noted music composer of the State, Satish Lalotra and Rakesh Khana accopained on Harmonium, Tanla and Flute respectively. |
