Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 28: Former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah, who is known for giving blunt statements, chided BJP leaders for observing death anniversary of Congress leader, Girdhari Lal Dogra, who is now a new source of inspiration for new generation of BJP. Farooq, who especially came all the way from Delhi to participate in 28th death anniversary of Girdhari Lal Dogra, availed this opportunity to reprimand BJP leadership of J&K for whom Congress leader is the new hero. "Where were you four years ago?", Dr Abdullah asked BJP who thronged at the venue in good number. There was competition among BJP leaders to register their presence before family members of late Girdhari Lal Dogra. With folded hands, BJP leaders including senior Ministers were seen lined up to mark their presence before family members of late Dogra. Dr Farooq Abdullah, who was watching competitive sycophancy among BJP leaders to please Girdhari Lal Dogra family, in his address scolded Saffron party leaders for paying tributes to their new Hero Girdhari Lal Dogra, who was opponent to the ideology of Jan Sangh and Praja Parishad. Ironically Girdhari Lal Dogra had always opposed policies and programmes of Jan Sangh and Praja Parishad but today BJP leaders including Ministers are treating him as source of inspiration and their "Hero", reasons known to everyone. |
