JAMMU, Nov 29 : The members of the Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) in their statement issued here today have urged the BSNL authorities for release of the pending arrears of watch & ward employees and monthly rent of BTS sites from January 2015. The BSNL authorizes have increased the monthly watch and ward allowances in respect of the BSNL towers installed by them at different sites/ locations in Jammu city with effect from January,2015, and in this regard the necessary agreements have already been executed with the BSNL authorities. But despite lapse of more than 11 months now, the arrears on account of the monthly enhancement of allowances are yet to be paid by the BSNL authorities. More so, the BSNL authorities have not so far released the revised monthly rent on account of the towers erected by them at different location since Jauary,2015 which is a matter of great concern for the owners of the sites of the towers. The members of MPEJ appealed to Chief General Manager, BSNL & Principal General Manager BSNL Mobiles J&K state to personally intervene and redress the genuine grievances of these watch & ward employees and also the owners of the sites of the towers. |
