Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 29 : The National Secular Forum (NSF) has strongly flayed the Minister for Commerce and Industries Chander Prakash Ganga for delaying the selection of candidates on various posts of Khadi and Village Industry Board (KVIB) advertised more than two years ago. NSF president Sukhdev Singh said, "Contrary to its tall claims of fast tracking the recruitment, the Government has failed to finalize the selection for filling sixty posts of different categories in Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB) which were advertised two years back. The posts were advertised in April 2013 and written test to fill the vacancies was conducted two years later in March 2015." He added that over 1250 aspirants had appeared in written examination for the posts of Executive officer, Law Officer and Field Publicity Officer in Kashmir as well as Jammu Province on March 29, 2015. However, despite lapse of seven months the Board is yet to declare result and finalize the selection list. Giving details, he said "In Kashmir province, 615 candidates appeared in the written test for the posts of Executive Officer, 68 for Law Officer and 60 for the posts of Field Publicity Officer whereas in Jammu, 410 appeared for Executive Officer posts, 62 for Law Officer and 40 for the posts of Field Publicity Officer", said an aspirant for the post of Field Publicity Officer." |
