KV Bantalab celebrates annual sports day

JAMMU, Nov 30: KV Bantalab today celebrated its annual sports day on today in Vidyalaya premises with great zeal and fervor. Shakti Raj Parihar (MLA-Doda) was the Chief Guest whereas Kuldeep Singh (Vice-President, District West) (BJP) and C.R Bhagat (Principal K.V Damana) were among the other dignitaries.
V. Santhosh Kumar (Principal of the Vidyalaya), in his welcome address, highlighted the importance of games & sports in students' life and expressed his gratitude to KVS for providing all kinds of facilities for its students to make up their personality. He further advised students to make use of all the available resources to show case their talents. He promised to provide improved and quality facilities during his tenure.
The programme began with the flag hoisting and flying of colorful balloons in the air by all the Chief Guest followed by a beautiful welcome song presented by the tiny-tots ofthe Vidyalaya.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Shakti Raj Parihar (MLA-Doda), said that KVS has no leaps and bounds as far as its growth is concerned .He stressed the need of opening Kendriya Vidyalayas in every district as it is an ever growing organization and is providing qualitv school education in the country,where students from every walk of life can sit together and study.
The celebrations began with a march past by all the four house's followed by an Oath Ceremony by Akash Saproo National Player in Cricket ..
Shriniwas Sharma (PET,K.V Bantalab) presented vote of thanks. More than 800 students took part in different events in the mega event of Sports Day. He also thanked everyone who contributed their services either directly or indirectly for the grand success of the mega event. Sports day ended with National Anthem.
