Early Times Report BASOHLI, Nov 30: The N.S.S. Unit of Ramisht College of Education, Basohli organized a sanitation drive in the vicinity of Basohli Town under "Sawachh Bharat Abhiyan. In this drive, 50 N.S.S volunteers took part in this sanitation derive. The N.S.S volunteers collected wrappers, stones polythene and other wastage laying in the town. They also awared the people of the town regarding importance of sanitation. They emphasized that to restore pollution free environment, sanitation around us is necessary to live a healthy life free from diseases. So we must dispose off waste in an appropriate way. Along with sanitation derive, the N.S.S volunteers also awared common people about health and hygiene. They told people that health is wealth. Hence they should be more careful about their health and they should take nutritious food. The whole derive was conducted under the guidance of N.S.S programme officer Mahan Singh. |
