Samba, Nov 30: A meeting of Governing body, Rogi Kalyan Samiti(RKS) and Government District Hospital Samba was held in the District Hospital Conference hall under chairmanship of MLA Samba Dr Davinder Kumar Manyal.
Dr Arun Sharma Medical Superintendent District Hospital Samba (Member Secretary RKS District Hospital Samba), gave a detailed presentation on works initiated, completed and under process especially under taken under "swach Hospital Abhiyan", including regular sanitation drives, repair and painting of old hospital furniture, machinery and equipment, measures for pest and animal control in hospital, removal of Junk from various areas, reorganization of Hospital Sections and services for comprehensive patient care and better patient flow and increasing efficiency of hospital employees and keeping future expansion in mind, Installation of Laundry Plant on anology of other Government Hospitals in J&K, Repair and Renovation or up gradation of Hospital buildings - by technical agencies, Manpower , material and equipment planning and ways of revenue generation.
Special attention towards "KAYAKALP" was given and Dr Arun explained in detail about Kayakalp and how district Hospital Samba is progressing under it. Agenda for future was also proposed especially taking care of Kayakalp and was approved by all the members.
Others present included Dr Rajeev Sharma Chief Medical Officer Samba(Vice Chairman RKS District Hospital Samba) and other Members including Amarjeet Singh President Lions Club, Dr. Jagdeep Singh Eminent Citizen, Sister Pushpa from Kristu Jyoti Hospital Samba , Vishav Pratap Singh District Information Officer and others. |
