X-Ray Technicians Association highlights demands

JAMMU, Nov 30: X-Ray Technicians Association under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation highlighted their demands and appealed authority to concern to solve as soon as possible.
According to press release, a day convention of X-Ray Technicians Association had been held at Madam Shashi Bala Memorial Parak Directorate of Health Services Jammu Complex under the Chairmanship of Sushil Sudan President JKMEF, Vinod Kumar Sharma Sectary General, S. Parfulat Singh General Secretary were also present in the convention.
During convention, all district and blocks representatives attended the Convention and high lights their demands and problem faced by the X-Ray Tech including clearance of pending D.P.C which is pending since 7 years and fill up the vacant posts of X-ray boy and tech, creation of posts of Technician Supervisor on the oncology of Govt. Medical College Jammu in X-Ray wing in the Health Department, creation posts of Supervisor/X-Ray Tech. in S.D.H, issuance of films badges to all employees working in X-ray Section, change of nomenclature from X-ray Tech. to Radio Technologist in Health Department, to start the course of B.Sc Radio Graphy through Department and encashment of Risk allowance @ 10% of the basic pay.
On the occasion, X-Ray Technicians unanimously elected their provincial body viz. S. Harpal Singh President, Surinder Sharma Sr. Vice President, Kuldeep Kumar Vice President, Liaqat Ali, General Sectary, Sukal Sharma Sectary, Vinod Sharma Secretary, Neelam Kumari Joint Secretary, Rahula Manahas Organizer, Mohd, Asif City Secretary, Som Dum & Vinayak as cashier.
After framing the body the whole delegation met the Director Health Services, Jammu under the leadership of Sushil Sudan President JKMEF who introduced the newly elected body of X-Ray Technician's Association and discussed the above mentioned burning demands. The Director listened the demands with patience and assured to fulfill all the genuine demands whatever comes under his jurisdiction and will surely take up with higher authorities the others that are beyond his sway.
