Girls outshine boys claims all top slots in class VIII Examination

Doda, Nov 30: The girls have outshined boys by bagging bagging all top slots while boys got not a single top slots in top 10 positions in merit list of class 8th results of result of Bhaderwah zone declared by DIET here on Monday. Apart from this the average pass percentage of girls is also recorded higher than that of boys.
DIET declared the results of Class 8th Board Exams 2015 of Doda district in which the overall pass percentage of girls is also seen higher than that of boys. District Coordinator DIET Doda Raj Mohd Mir said, "The top first position have been bagged by a girl Iqra Tabusum d/o Rustum Ali Lone r/o Gundana Doda with 99.6% marks where as in Bhaderwah zone first position was begged by Aqra Fatima d/o Mubarak Shah r/o Pasri Mohalla with 96.4% marks . Talking to media persons top rankers Iqra Tabusum of Gundana , Doda and Iqra Fatima of Bhaderwah said, "We have not taken coaching from any private tuition centre and it was our own efforts that helped us to understand the concepts better." Daughter of a 4th class employee in R&B Bhaderwah presently posted at Dak Bunglow Bhaderwah, the Iqra Fatima of Radiant Academy Bhaderwah position holder buoyantly said, "Somewhere I had in mind that I will go through hands down and today a feeling got the shape I passed in flying colours. She expressed her gratitude to principal and her teachers at school who offered timely and valuable guidance making her o score 96 percent in board exams. Buoyant over her performance in first board examination, she want to continue the same in future and dreams to become an IAS officer. Another Topper Iqra Tabusum from Gundana who stood first in Doda district briefly accredted her success to her parents and teachers whose help to her was valuable in her studies. "I thank them for my achievement," she said. She also shared her aim to become an engineer and then to become an IAS officer.
