Radio Kashmir Jammu celebrates foundation day 12/1/2015 10:48:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 1: Radio Kashmir Jammu today celebrated its 68th foundation day. Radio Kashmir Jammu came into force to crush the strong and false propaganda made by Pakistan Radio. Right from its beginning the station became a force to reckon with and strongly embedded itself in the heart of every single individual in the region, be it here or across the border. Such sentiments were echoed in no minced words by one and all who gathered in large numbers in the premises of Radio Kashmir Jammu for a Dogri Folk Songs concert. The event started with lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, MLA East Rajesh Gupta joined in by station Head DDG (E) K.K.Singh, Station Director V.K. Sambyal. Rajesh Gupta while elaborating upon the role of Radio Kashmir Jammu in disseminating information, education and entertainment recollected the fond memories of his childhood and his love for radio.
