Jammu, Dec 1: For alleged negligence in lodging FIR in firing incident in Vijaypur, SSP Samba today transferred Station House Officer (SHO) Vijaypur, Sub-Inspector Rajeshwar Singh from Vijaypur police station to SIDCO police post as in-charge while Inspector Yashpal Jamwal has been shifted from District Police Lines (DPL) Samba and posted as new SHO of Vijaypur police station. Pertinently, a gangster sustained injuries in a shootout took place two groups in Vijaypur last night. Sources said that two rival gangs clashed with each other and one of them opened fire wounding their opposite gang member in Gurha Salathia area, last night. Following the clashes, sources said, the wounded criminal escaped from there and went to Punjab for medical treatment to avoid police action. |
