Harish Chander Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 5: After the transfer of SHOs of Domana and Bishnah police stations, at least six Inspectors are said to have activated all their resources to get posted there as the heads. The transfers of the SHOs were effected in the recent past. At least six Inspectors, who are attached with the District Police Lines (DPL), have started taking rounds of the offices and residences of senior police officers for a posting at the two police stations, according to police sources. "The aspirants are six but the vacancies are only two, so only two of them are going to be adjusted as SHOs of Domana and Bishnah police stations. But none of them has lost hope," the sources added. Sources said one of them, who was felt to be more influential than the others, had asked a senior police officer to post him in any city police station. "If the officer agrees to post him in the city, some SHOs in the winter capital city are likely to be transferred and replaced by those who are attached with the DPL," the sources added. |
